OVS Hardware requirements

  • Intel XEON Quadcore or better CPU > 2Ghz. Eg E5-2650 v3 @ 2.3Ghz or later (High performance server with 4 CPU’s).
  • RAM: Minimal 16GB (High performance server with 128GB)
  • Storage: Operating system plus storage for assets. RAID storage configuration recommended
  • Ethernet connection 1Gbit or more (max 250 concurrent viewers at FHD/4Mbit), 500 concurrent viewers at HD/2Mbit).
  • Three DNS registered IP addresses required
  • Virtualization (like ESX) supported


OVS Software requirements

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2 or later
  • Internet Information Server (IIS)
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7
  • ASP.NET
  • SQL server 2016 (Express). In high performance environment use separate MS SQL server.
  • 2 SSL certificates (one for IIS and one for Apache)
