With the support for NDI devices you can easily attach NDI devices in the same network. The most obvious NDI source would be another PC.

Simply install de vMix Desktop Capture software on the presenter PC to connect the PC without using  a video grabber card.


The software is available for both Mac and Windows. Be aware you might need administrator rights on the presenter PC to install additional software.


  • Download the zip file
  • Extract the zip file




  • Run vMixDesktopCapture on the remote (presenter) PC



  • Press Settings to check the setup



  • On the Recorder add new Input and select NDI / Desktop Capture
  • Select the full Display or a Application to show
