This sections enables you to configure the background tasks.




Collect assets

This process checks for finished transcoding jobs and makes them available in the catalogue. Default is set to one minute.

Run transcoding tasks

This process checks for files that need to be transcoded and will update the transcoding queu.

Show completed transcoding job for

Show a list with finished transcoding jobs on the Transcoding status page.



Clean-up and renaming

Run "remove deleted schedules" every (Hours)

This interval will check for deleted schedules and remove them.

Remove schedules after expired for (Days)

This interval will check for expired schedules and remove them.

Remove assets after being in the recycle bin after (Days)

When assets are deleted via the web-interface or workflow they are automatically placed in the Recycle bin. This service will remove items from the recycle bin.

Remove assets after being orphaned for (Days)

Incomplete uploads, empty folders, abandoned zipped downloads are removed automatically.

Run clean up device assets

This process removes files from the shared folder used to collect recordings from third party recorders (Matrox, Extron, Lumens, Drop folder etc)



Storage and Workflow process

Workflow process interval (hours):

Interval time for the workflow to process all folders with workflow rules set.

Import users and groups

Run Import

Interval time for the import service to run. Interval starts after the previous process has finished.

Link to a text or zip file with groups or users to import

Link to the SOAP import service API

Web service max row count

Maximum amount of rows (users/groups) to process in one batch. Default setting: 200

Web service login username

Web service initial date

Only used during the first import. Users / groups created before this date will be ignored.

Process download timeout:

If the link to the import files does not respond within the timeout period, the process will postpone to the next interval.
